Designed for the Luxury Traveler
In a city renowned for its legacy of forward-thinking design and architecture, The Peninsula Chicago will set a new standard for accommodations in Chicago. Designed with the luxury traveler in mind, the new guest rooms are expected to be completed in April 2016 and will showcase The Peninsula's evolution of design of luxury and enhance every guest's stay with ease, elegance and the ultimate personalization.
Designer Bill Rooney of Bill Rooney Studio, Inc., conceived contemporary interiors with a cosmopolitan attitude that syncs perfectly with The Peninsula’s vibrant setting in the heart of Chicago. Drawing influence from the French Deco style of the hotel’s public spaces, the new room is intentionally suited for both the business and leisure traveler. The new environment is spacious, unrestrained and offers panoramic views of the Chicago skyline. A hand-crafted floral art design element anchors each guest room, featuring the official flower of Chicago, the chrysanthemum, which is also one of the four “noble flowers” of Asia, further solidifying the marriage of the brand’s Asian heritage with Chicago influence.
The first phase of the redesign will be completed by Fall 2015, and the final phase by April 2016.
