Pierrot Gourmet, a European-style café and bistro is all about people watching and basking in the sun - where tables surrounded by colourful flowers face out on a bustling Rush Street. Inside, Pierrot Gourmet takes on a cozy farmhouse-inspired ambience with rustic wood panels and wrought iron accents. After the breakfast rush subsides, the restaurant is filled with shoppers refuelling on simple yet satisfying French bistro cuisine, from staple favourites such as a hearty home-made soup to a selection of French-style flatbreads, similar to a thin crust pizza with an array of toppings. Paired with a crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a touch of imagination, restaurant patrons are transported to the streets of Paris!
In constantly striving to improve our facilities and service, we will be closing Pierrot Gourmet for maintenance starting Monday January 22nd, 2018 to Friday January 26th, 2018. The Lobby, Shanghai Terrace and The Bar will remain open during the closure.
Meet the Chef Dimitri Fayard
Dimitri Fayard joined The Peninsula Chicago in May 2013. As Executive Pastry Chef, he is responsible for overseeing the pastry development for all food and beverage operations within the hotel, including the restaurant, in-room dining, banquets, buffets and the Chocolate Bar.
