Peninsula in Pink Partners with The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation and Bright Pink
For the fourth consecutive year, The Peninsula Chicago is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness with a month of delectable Pretty in Pink offerings. A portion of all sales of these rose-tinted treats will benefit two local charity partners: The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation and Bright Pink.
This month’s pink-themed specialities include a Peninsula en Rose Afternoon Tea, a Pretty in Pink cocktail, a Rose Lychee Éclair, specialty Peninsula Spa treatments, and a Peninsula in Pink ribbon pin. The Peninsula Chicago is also offering complimentary transportation in its signature MINI Cooper cars to patients for their cancer treatments in coordination with the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.
“For certain cancer treatments, patients have to come to the hospital weekly or even daily which is a tremendous burden. What The Peninsula has offered to our patients is a phenomenal service that can ease some of that stress and allow them to come to their appointments in style!” - David Sack, Northwestern Memorial Foundation
Hotel guests can show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness by purchasing a special pink card and writing a message or the name of someone who has suffered from breast cancer and hanging it on the Remembrance Tree in The Lobby. Guests can also add a monetary amount at the bottom of their guest folio upon checkout, or at the bottom of their receipt when dining in any of the hotel’s restaurants or bar, and this will be divided between our charity partners.
